History and Vision of the University

Avrasya University was founded in 2010 in Trabzon as a foundation (vakıf) university. Established by the Trabzon Education, Culture and Health Foundation, it became the first foundation university in the Black Sea Region. The university aims to contribute to the region’s and Turkey’s educational landscape by prioritizing quality in education.

Education

Its academic structure includes the Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Education.

The main language of instruction is Turkish, with some programs offered in English. International students can join an optional English preparatory program.
